Using our website is generally possible without providing personal data. Where personal data (e.g. name, phone, e-mail address) is collected on our pages, this is always done on a voluntary basis. Personal data is treated strictly confidentially and is neither sold nor passed on to third parties without authorisation. Everyone has the right to protection of their privacy and to protection against misuse of their personal data, based on Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the Data Protection Act (FADP).

This website is hosted on Google Firebase (Google Cloud) infrastructure. When you access the website, information that your browser transmits is automatically collected in order to deliver the site technically and operate it stably and securely:

• Referrer URL
• Date and time of the server request

This data does not allow direct conclusions to be drawn about your person and is not merged with other data sources. It is collected for security and to optimise our service.

When you use our booking or contact form, we process the details you provide (name, e-mail, phone, desired vehicle, rental period and your message) to handle your request and for any follow-up questions. Transmission is encrypted; the data is stored in our database (Google Firestore).

When we hand over the vehicle, we note the number, category and expiry date of your driver's licence, and for an additional driver their name and licence as well. We delete these details and the copy of your driver's licence automatically 90 days after the vehicle is returned, and 7 days after a cancellation or a lapsed unpaid booking – longer only while a deposit is still open.

To protect against spam we use Cloudflare Turnstile. Your IP address may be transmitted to Cloudflare in the process. We do not pass this data on to further third parties without your consent and delete it once the purpose of processing no longer applies and no statutory retention obligations prevent it. The copies of sent e-mails in our sending queue are deleted automatically after one year.

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Necessary cookies are required for basic functions such as language preference, security and managing your cookie settings, and are set without separate consent.

Analytics cookies are only set with your explicit consent. We use Firebase Analytics (a Google service) to create pseudonymous usage statistics: your browser is recognised by a random identifier in a cookie, not by your name, and Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time via the cookie settings in the footer of the website.

With your consent we use Firebase Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, or Google Ireland Limited. Firebase Analytics uses cookies and collects information about how you use our website. The statistics are pseudonymous: your browser is recognised by a random identifier in a cookie, not by your name.

Data collected includes pages visited (without parameters in the address, except campaign identifiers such as utm_source), page titles, referrer URL, page loading measurements, clicks on phone, e-mail, WhatsApp or map links (only the kind of link, never the number or address), the successful submission of an enquiry through the contact form (without its content), the start of an online booking and the paid rental (vehicle, extras and amount, without your name and without the booking number), and general usage statistics. The admin area is not measured; on the payment pages no page view is measured, only the paid rental. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. For visitors from Switzerland and the EU, the data is collected through servers in the EU; any transfer to Google LLC in the USA is based on the Swiss-U.S. and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Frameworks, under which Google is certified.

The fonts used on this website are served locally or provided via Google's infrastructure. Where fonts are loaded from Google servers, your IP address is transmitted to Google. For users in Switzerland and the EEA, Google Ireland Limited is responsible.

On the contact page we embed Google Maps to show you our location. When the map loads, Google receives information about the page being accessed as well as your IP address. If you are logged in to Google, this data can be linked to your account. Google Ireland Limited is responsible.
